Redd is a better player, and I'd rather have him on my team. Redd can do more than just score.

Ben Gordon for sure. Reasons? They were all ready listed. Better defense, more playoff experience, better in the clutch, more than just a shooter like Redd is.

I really can't answer this question. I would have to see Redd on a winning team first.

Ben Gordon and Michael Redd? lol. Ben Gordon is a rich man's Salim Stoudamire. Michael Redd is a rich man's Juan Dixon.

I'd take neither. You're paying good money for streaky scorers who can also put up points, but can also fill up the basket, however they are also good at lighting up the scoreboard, and they can also shoot the ball.

Seconded, i don't remember seeing Gordan being hurt often yet i have seen Redd on the bench this year

Redd was nice and busy on the bench for a couple seasons while the Bucks were still good.

He is a solid 2nd or 3rd option on a contending team, but shouldn't be relied upon as a team's star. He is still a better scorer than Gordon though.

Again, havent seen him play in 3 years who knows
Redd isn't Rip Hamilton with his catch-and-shoot ass. However, Rip's points are worth just as much as Redd's.

I'd have to agree with ATB on this one.

Are people still seriously saying that Ben Gordon is a better defender then Michael Redd?

                        HAVE YOU WATCHED BEN GORDON?!

I'm taking Ben Gordon. Out of the 2 of them I feel like Ben Gordon is a more clutch player and that's what I want if I'm picking between 2 streaky players.
                            I give rep not thanks

That is definitely true for as much shit as I give Ben Gordon he typically has GREAT fourth quarters. I think his rookie year he had something like 20 double-digit scoring 4th quarters.

But people saying that Gordon is more of a shooter then Redd? Not really. Gordon rarely gets to the line and draws fouls in fact Redd got to the line about 4.6 times a game which is nearly equal to Gordon's total 4.8
