If you are going to talk shit then you have to be prepared to receive shit talking after putting up a horrific effort.

I also heard that Blount said he didn't even hear what the dude said and punched him because he was touched.

and I still can't believe there were people saying the Boise player should have been suspended.
Blount really didn't talk shit about Boise, and he definitely didn't talk shit "all week" like you are saying.

All Bount said was "we owe them an ass whoopin," that is not talking shit. That is just saying that you owe them an ass whoopin. Talking shit would be "we are going to kick their ass," or "they suck, we are going to whoop their ass." He said "we owe them an ass whoopin," that's not talking shit, that is truth, they did owe them one. Unfortunately for him and his team, they couldn't deliver.

Talking smack before the game is one thing. Hitting one of the players pads and then talking smack after the game is a whole nother thing. Everyone knows that words are exchanged before, during, and sometimes after the games. You don't touch another person, ever. That's the bottom line. You touch someone, especially after you just beat them and they are feeling like shit, and then talk shit you better expect to be punched in the face.

The Boise State player instigated the entire thing. He deserves some punishment (more than just a punch in the face) because he was the one that initiated all the unsportsmanlike conduct. Sure Blount acted like a moron and didn't do the right thing, but I believe the Boise player deserved to be punched in the face and should be suspended for 1 game or a half or something for acting like a jackass. Nonetheless, the sore jaw he woke up to will most likely remind him to never touch a player on the opposing team after the game again so that punch probably taught him a good lesson.

Why the fuck would anyone be touching players on the other team after the game and talking shit in their faces? You just don't do that. And if you do do that expect to be punched in the face or some sort of retaliation.

I'm not worried about the Ducks finding another back. Crenshaw did great when Stewart went down a couple years ago. LaMichael James will probably be the starter here on out, and he might not put up the #'s that Blount did or would have, but he'll have a good year.

I'm more worried about that fucking o-line.

If Blount doesn't stay in shape, he won't get drafted. He's gained a lot of weight this offseason, and it's worried the coaches about his commitment.

If he stays in shape, he'll be at the combine, and some team will take that chance on him. The guy is a fucking beast, and they'll be willing to take the bad for the good. As a fucking part time player he got 17 TD's and ran for over 1,000 yards. Someone is going to go after him hoping they can change him.

no you dont expect to get a punch in the grill from teh blind side, no matter what. you and dboy both need to kick that gehtto mentality and get with the program. blount wanted to act hard, and his team lost. then he got smacked talked and acted like a bitch. if blount shoves him he gets 1 maybe 2 games and there is a ton of jaw jacking, but instead he sucker punched the dude and then he acted the fool on the way out. suspended for the year is fine by me and he is lucky not have his scholarship revoked and be sent on home to wait for teh supplemental draft next year.

it wasn't a sucker punch. the dude tapped him on the shoulders, talked some shit, and then tried to run away and he got punched.

when you walk up to someone, tap them on the shoulder and say some shit right in their grill and then got punched that is not a sucker punch.

a sucker punch is if blount would have ran up to this dude and hit him out of nowhere. that didn't happen.

if you start shit and get punched it's not a sucker punch.

just cuz this dude was running away doesn't mean it was a sucker punch. it means he's a pussy and a moron and deserved to get punched in the face.

and Blount deserved the suspension, been saying this the entire time.

Dude deserved to get punched in the jaw, and Blount deserved to get suspended for it.

Both deserved to be suspended. Blount sealed his fate when he went after the fans. He would have only been gone for 3 games if not for that.

Hout deserves a game suspension, IMO. Mocking another player by touching them is a big no-no. You can talk shit, but the second you touch them, you are in the wrong. He should sit out a game.

When you talk shit, you keep your head on a swivel. His own fault for not seeing the punch coming. You could see the look on Chris Petersons face, "Ah fuck, you gonna get knocked out."

Gotta agree with Omar and Prodigal Son .. both should have been suspended. Hout instigated the entire thing. It's not about being 'hard' steeljake, that's just such an obvious act of disrespect. What did he expect?

It's about sportsmanship. Hout initiated the unsportsmanlike conduct, Blount finished it.

On espn they said Blount was talking shit saying they were going to take care of business in Boise. That IS talking shit. He talks shit, loses, gets a tap on the shoulder and flips out. You are acting like the Boise player slammed on his shoulder pads and called him a n*****. He TAPPED him on the pads and that is a big no-no just because it was after the game? gtfo. Blount talked shit, couldn't back it up and threw a bitch fit when someone said something to him and tapped him on the shoulder.
