        Since when do leagues retire numbers? Jordan didn't do shit on the Philly Sixers. So why should a player not be allowed to wear that number for that team?

        Makes no sense. Jordan was a Bull. Retire 23 in Chicago. And Chicago only.

            The Miami Heat retired #23, even though Jordan never played for them. That's about as pitiful as it gets.

              lol Unless a player does something really significant, like jackie robinson, i don't see why a team would retire a players jersey...when the player never played for them.

              I don't see how anyone that's competitive would be all about the league retiring #23. You think Jordan would say ok if someone asked him to retire #33 on the Bobcats?
