Georgetown is the exact team Duke struggles with. Athletic big men, good guards. Similar to Nova and most of their losses in the last couple of years.

They are dominating Duke definitely, but the refs helped this game become a blowout, just saying. Different refs this would have been a closer game. Duke would still have lost but not as badly

I was just kind of wondering why a Georgia fan is so passionate about Dook basketball. I have no rooting interest for either team, it just seems to me Georgetown is too much athletically for Duke to contain. Duke is playing porous defense as well.

Greg Monroe was mugged on that last shot after he lost the ball, whoever for Duke down low basically tackled him after he lost the ball which led to the Scheyer layup on the other end. I agree the refs are up and down letting some very physical calls go, but Duke still loses this game anyway.

Im just glad Loserville went Loserville against WV in the second half. I dont care if it hurts Kentucky's RPI any day Louisville loses is a good day IMO.

Come on, man. Gtwn is now shooting 75%. Who loses making 3 of 4? dook is shooting 33%. How many team win shooting like that? Zebras have nothing to do w/it. You don't make shots, you don't stop shots, you don't win. 25 fta's for dook, 20 for G'twn.

Cards got jobbed on that last OB call, though. Should have been Louisville ball under their own basket.

Man honestly, i stopped watching when Uvel was up about 14 right before half. I realized the Duke game was on and turned the channel with the quickness. I didnt see the second half, i just imagine it was a typical Rick Pitino Louisville gameplan take cheapshots on defense and whine at refs when you get called for it, play charmin soft on offense relying on 3s.

Im real worried about the Vanderbilt Kentucky game honestly. even if UK wasnt coming off of a loss i just think Vandy has more scorers and athletes than they ever have under Kevin Stallings. Ogilvy, Jeffrey Taylor, and John Jenkins are all NBA type players. Ive NEVER been able to say Vandy had 3 NBA players on one team. Kentucky should win at Rupp, but i will not be surprised at all if Vandy wins.

G'twn wins 89-77. Most lopsided 12 pt game I've ever seen.

Mizzou and their "Fastest 40 minutes in basketball" style is killin Okie State. We havent played a team like that all season long. I knew this would be a rough game. Oh well, onto Texas! We host the Longhorns on Monday and its gonna be on ESPN. I wanna go to the game so badly but dont have a student ticket. And since its Texas, students are selling tickets that cost more than $30. I'll prolly give in and buy one lol

He is very talented but has a very bad temper, he reminds me alot of Rasheed Wallace the way he throws a tantrum every time he is called for a foul as well.

I have no defense for his constant elbows he throws. Yes all 4 and 5 men are constantly battling down low but he throws unneccessary cheap shots.

CCSU won for the third straight time at home beating Fairleigh Dickinson 77-67. We were up 19 at one point, hitting 15 of our first 20 shots, but then went cold and blew the lead and were down 1 with 7 to go. We answered with a 10-0 run and it was too much.

CCSU is now 4-6 in conference play and with back to back games against Bryant we should be looking at 6-6 by next Saturday.

It looks like after today Central will be 1 game outta 6th place in the conference and 6th place is the magical number since top 6 make it to the tourny.

USC vs. Oregon St - They are both in the 30's as I type this, with about 8 minutes left in the second half. Ugly, ugly basketball. USC has no players, but led most of the way until OSU switched to a half court trap in the 2nd half. USC HAS NO CLUE what to do...they are throwing the ball away with some of the ugliest passes you'll ever see, and when they don't turn it over, they just heave up air balls. OSU has a 7 ft white high post C who has got to be the softest big man i've ever seen.

Cal vs Arizona St -- Cal is supposed to be the class of the league, but im not very impressed. Yeah, it's a road game, and yeah, they led by double digits most of the way, but Arizona St is making a run and nobody on Cal looks like they want to take the big shot. I think when all is said and done, Washington is the best team, but has too much ground to make up to win the league.

Arzona 76, Stanford 68 -- Nic Wise is a tough little G who plays hard and is clearly Arizona's best player. The Wildcats have crept into the league race, which is telling considering this is for all intents and purposes a rebuild. Stanford is non descript as they come.
This is the worst the Pac 10 has been in years. The Mountain West flat dominated them in non-conference play this year.

I wish UK would've known that going into the SC game, it seems they've learned though as their are playing much better vs a much more talented Vandy team.
