Denver didnt get the better deal

They said McDyess will be bought out and re-sign with DET.

He was the main reason i was pissed. he gave his whole body for DET, hes only playing right now cause he wants to win a ring so bad, when DET traded him to a non contender I was pissed, but now that hes coming back I'll take AI and his 1 yr contract.

    Sheed contract is up too

giving us money to go after Bosh or James.

If you think Chris Bosh or LeBron are coming to Detroit you're trippin. I cant blame for you trying to spin a positive out of the deal, its not a BAD deal for either team, but that aint the positive.

Id be shocked if CB4 left Toronto, but if he did, he'd go to New York or back home to Texas. We both know LBJ going to play with Jay Z, staying in Cleveland, going to NY or going to Europe.

I just think the timing of this trade is brutal for Detroit.

You'd be amazed what a player will do if you throw all that money at them.

Interesting deal. I feel like it fucks up Detroit's chemistry, but AI is such a good player it might not matter.

Denver was and is going no where with this trade.

I still believe Billups was a product of the system in Detriot.

                    To whom it may concern:
                    (Being from Detroit)

(First and foremost let me say I do have a Billups Jersey and i recognize faults of all my favorite teams)

Billups was on the trading block all summer... Joe D said "all" the players are expandable (except for Rip) and any will be traded to help the team.

Billups was a big headed player. Even in public he was big headed. I seen dude so many times. the pistons (and otha teams) used to practice sometimes at my (Oakland Univ) otha college in the gym. And they used to eat across the street at a Friday's. Rip is prolly the coolest person on the team.

But anyway Mr. BigShot played lazy and half court when he wasn't the star of attention. A lot of times he passed up Rip, Prince, Sheed, and others becuz he wasn't shining. Billups had the "big head" that's not team play.

During 04 when we won the championship, Billups wasn't consistant the whole playoffs until the finals. Rip should've won that MVP but that didn't happen.

Stuckey was drafted becuz Detroit was already planning to get rid of Billups.

Billups avg 17 & 6 last season...that's not superstar stats.

                    Now...
                    Mr. Iverson
                    27 & 7

I used to hate this guy becuz "I used to think" he was a ball hog. WRONG!!! He consistently put them stats up with Philly and got better when he went to the Nuggets. He even made the Nuggets better.

If he was such a ball hog, why the hell did Philly give he a standing ovation when he returned to play them???

He took philly to the championship and he had nothing. Yea he scored all the points but shit take away pippen, rodman, kuk, from jordan... what do you think would happen? Last year Denver was looked at as a championship contender. Detroit's a much better team than them.

And what team have Ivo broken up? really!

For all you people saying we giving up a "pass first" PG for a "ball hog PG why the hell does Ivo avg. more assist than...

Billups avg. 6.8 assist a game
Ivo avg. 7.1 assist a game.
                    You do the math!

                    In Closing
A.I will give you a hell of a lot more than Billups would have...Look it up (in every category)... Look at the stats...

as a matter of fact Ivo make more steals, assists, scores more points (avg 10 more), and plays better Defense.

If Detroit decided to run Stuckey, RIP, and Ivo...Who's going stop them. Nobody in the league can match up against that. We now have the best back court in the NBA. Who's going to check, chase, and be able to keep up without passing out on the court. And even if they don't play all three, who's going to match that? "Championship"

Oh yea Detroit has the better of the Deal

I think the deal is about even now, but i think the Nuggets will be killin because they would of had 30M in cap space with Iverson and Camby trade alone.

AI brings a lot of firepower to the Pistons squad but he is also a bomb waiting to go off and if he doesnt get his way, it's gonna get messy. Lots of radical personalities on that team.
                          Who Sheed!?!
That's the only one and Ivo aint on that bullshit.

I think Iverson and Sheed are both mature enough that they won't throw little bitch fits at eachother like they have for past teams.

Absolute worst case scennario for the Pistons: Chemistry breaks down this season, they only win 45-50 games, 1st or 2nd round exit. Then AI and Sheed's contracts come off the books, the rebuilding begins.

Denver is the one that's fucked, in 3 years they'll be over the cap with just their starting lineup, or close to it.

So where does McDyess end up? They say logical is Detroit, but I think many teams will make a play at him.

He wants to win a title and he has the same agent as KG so...

Wishful thinking, though a PF isn't a "necessity" for Boston.
