Best example of that is in the second half Favre had them spread out and they get the ball inside the 5. Favre is waving the heavy package off the field that Childress is calling the play for. The Vikes had been slicing and dicing the Bears D in 4 WR sets the entire half. Childress goal line package comes in and Peterson promptly goes for a 2-3 yard loss off of right tackle.

They have that one on a loop on TV this morning talking about how maybe Brett Favre is right in that Chili doesn't know what he is doing with a playbook in his hands.

People forget that the reason Favre knows Chili is that when he was the coach at Wisconsin, the Packers would let him sit in on their offensive meetings to try and learn the offense that Favre had already been running for 10 years. Sometimes, the player does know more than the coach and it showed last night. It's like that horrible first half game plan was Childress proving to Favre that getting into a heavy set and pounding Peterson into the teeth of the Bears defense was the way he wanted things. Favre knows that with the problems the Vikings OL has had the past few weeks, the best way is to spread it out and keep guys from being able to disguise their blitzes as easily.

It also doesn't hurt that the Bears are one of the worst blitzing teams in the NFL...I swear to God I haev never seen a team blitz so much and not get to the QB.

The Bears coaching in the 2nd half was awful anyways. They made absolultly no counter move to the Vikes different game plan.

AP is explosive but this guy has hands of stone and the case of the fumbles.

He's dropping passes out of the backfield left and right, he hasn't improved his hands that much, IF any.
