What do you mean by "star"? If you're referring to people jumping on his bandwagon and annointing him (only to scurtinize him him in year 5-7 when he doesn't have a ring) than you are correct. However, if you're referring to actual play and success on the court i'd argue than you are incorrect.
Durant is a good player, but lets not drink that Kool-Aid. I understand its popular to criticize James for not winning, having a bad game 5, going to the Heat, etc, but lets not forget the impact he's had and that he'll continue to have. If Durant continues to expand his game at the maximum James and Durant would be able to share the spotlight, but Durant certainly isn't going to surpas James in the next 2 years.
