Sloppy first half in the RMU/McGill game, but the Colonials came up on top by 20+.
I was impressed with Russell Johnson, he was probably the leading scorer. Hit from both inside and outside, played some pretty good defense and pulled down a bunch of rebounds.
And get ready for me to hype up another RMU freshman. Yann Charles, the Canadian forward who picked the Colonials over Notre Dame, was in foul trouble a good portion of the night, but when in he could do no wrong. Very impressed with his moves in the post and his shot from the outside. He's going to be a stud.
Everyone's favorite player Karon Abraham didn't play much, but hit two three-pointers. Overall, I think we went 11 deep, but I think we'll have a 9-man rotation once the season kicks off.

Kentucky's Enes Kanter and Kansas' Josh Selby are still awaiting word from the NCAA on their eligibility. Both guys figure to be big parts of their respective team's gameplans if they are cleared to play.
Enes Kanter pronounces his name like N S not Enis rhyming with Penis.
Louisville's big man Georgui Dieng was recently cleared to play. There were issues about his academic eligibility but they were overturned and now he's eligible. He pronounces his name like Gorky Jang, have fun with that one.Comment
