Kansas looked really good last night even without Josh Selby. They play good team ball with a lot of guys that can contribute...reminds me of the '08 national title team. They could be scary good when Selby finally gets cleared to play.
Hoping K-State looks better than they did in their opener against James Madison. Pullen was money as usual, but the front court was looking soft.
K-State could lose this game as Curtis Kelly might be benched for disciplinary reasons. I really don't want to see us drop a game already, but it could be a good thing down the road for Frank Martin to send a message.Comment

Tough loss at Kent State with the 8 a.m. tip, but it confirmed my biggest fear all year; we're going to get outrebounded every game.
I think this team might have more talent than last year's squad (an older Abraham, Jones and Johnson + Yann Charles > Rob Robinson) and we have some solid depth off the bench (freshman guard Anthony Myers and junior forward Lawrence Bridges) but this team is a lot smaller than last year's. That might cost us some games this season, like it did today.
Robert Morris hosts Duquesne on Friday, should be a good one.

La Salle is beasting it up. Guess losing Dunn hurts Baylor more than we thought.

KSU is so soft. They are getting every call their way. Got Pullen in fould trouble early, did a good job early, started falling apart the past couple minutes though.Comment
