Mike Francesca reported Mark Cuban would take Anthony even if he doesn't sign the extension. He's willing to take the risk and rent him for the playoffs.

Says that the trade offers with the lakers could just be a smokescreen to get the Knicks involved faster

I don't see Kobe and Carmelo complementing each other(like Jordan and Pippen) at all. What happens to Gasol? If you move him to the 5 and Artest(or Odom) to 4, that's not good either.

Don't mind jugg, his team couldn't pull the trigger so he's hating.

Latest is from Melo that if he's not traded, he'll consider signing the extension with Denver.

pfft, I'm supporting the Knicks. I honestly believe that the only way Melo to NY will be a success is if we sign him in the offseason.

The Knicks are my eastern team, and soon to be my main team. The Mavs have only been my western team since I'm an avid Dirk supporter.

Denver is fucked either way. Melo is playing them now saying he will consider signing the extension.

Ok they dont trade, he says Fuck You Im not signing that extension, now they lose him in FA to New York anyway

Latest from CBS is that essentially, the Nuggets would almost definitely rather NOT trade Melo and see what happens down the road. Whether he signs the extension or they can do a sign and trade, it doesn't appear like they're in a corner by any means.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are confident that regardless if Denver is involved, they can acquire Knicks F Anthony Randolph. They're under the impression it would cost a late-1st round pick and they'd have to take back G Roger Mason (who they'd then waive).

Either way, I'm not as confident as I was 2 weeks ago that Melo will be dealt at all.

If he wants to ruin his career, go ahead and let him.
