This despite the fact that Melo has said he does not want to go to Jersey.

In the middle of the season, his focus should be entirely on Denver and its success ... not next year with whomever.
He is quitting on Denver before the season is over.
For the Knicks' sake, I hope they lose the Carmelo lottery. It would be better for them as a team.

Hell, if he was a real team guy, he'd tell the Knicks - "Don't give fuck all up for me, I'll sign for whatever in the off-season and sacrifice max dollars."

Of course that would require putting the team above the individual ... something Carmelo clearly has an issue with.

Give James, Wade and Bosh this - they made financial sacrifices for their experiment. Maybe Anthony should do the same. Even better, maybe he should play his ass off for Denver and try to get that team into the playoffs.

How has Melo not been focusing on Denver? He's playing some of the best ball of his career, he's scoring well and rebounding well.
You say he should focus on Denver, but then say he should talk to the Knicks about waiting to sign him? That sounds like giving up on the Nuggets to me.
