    Jared Sullinger Staying in School?

His father is telling reporters his son is having too much fun in school to come out after this season.

He can't possibly be correct, could he? After all, Sullinger is pretty much guaranteed to be a top 3 pick.

Perhaps the impending lockout is an issue here.

I'd be shocked but happy if he returned.

Same rumors surrounded John Wall last year. He's as good as gone, IMO.

Just saying that so it becomes less of a distraction during the tourney run.

Such a generic excuse too. Any fun you can have in college is gonna be there in the NBA x10.

If he thinks he'll end up being a top pick he'll leave.

Hopefully some of these players learn from the football guys who left early and now look likely to be shit out of luck. AJ

Plus it wouldn't hurt to have some of the stud freshmen stick around an extra year, making next season pretty exciting with a lot of talented young players.

Exactly the same as Andrew Luck. Only with Luck add the increased injury factor.

Even though everyone jumped on me for saying he can have more fun in the pros and even if his family makes a lot of money it'd still be nice to get a few million more.

well there is no fun if there is no NBA, just like with Luck if there is no NFL

Luck is the exception to the rule.

                      How is Luck different?

Sullinger is a smart dude who's serious about academics too.

No, because he's smart enough to realize that he's going to make a lot of money in the NBA and can continue his education either during his NBA careers or directly afterwards.

Why does it matter? I never got why people care whether or not someone wants to stay in school. More power to him either way.
