Can he even sign to a team and be eligible for playoff play? Or is it too late?Comment

And now the next drama with marbury. His number. The Number 3 is retired in Boston. And Marbury has a tattoo of the number 3 on his head and he wears number 3. Go figure

I highly doubt he will be a problem, he's not going to pull any shit. He still needs to prove he can play to get another contract, if he shows he's effective he will get another good contract from someone, I believe the Celt's are only going to pay him the Vet. Minimum. Plus he has a solid chance at winning a Championship, could possibly his only chance. I think its a great move for the Celtics, low risk on their part and hopefully a solid back-up for Rondo. If anyone is going to motivate him its definitely KG. Hopefully we get the best out of him?Comment

Didn't realize Boston retired the number for some reason. That will be a problem with Marbury, yet he'll probally get a number with three in it it such as 13 or 33Comment

The difference is he understands his role, which is coming in as a scorer and playmaker off the bench. He understands this isn't about the big 3+Rondo+Marbury, which is different from past years when he was brought in to lead the team. Going to a winning team that doesn't necessarily need him is a great move for MarburyLast edited by ralaw; 02-25-2009, 09:17 AM.Comment
