Forget any trade for Paul - Knicks don't have the pieces. We have to wait until the off-season.

      ----

Starting in August, Will The Thrill has been doing just that -- thrilling millions of fans in China. In his debut for the Zhejiang Guangsha basketball club, former Knick Wilson Chandler scored 43 points and grabbed 22 rebounds in a 118-115 double-overtime win over Tianjin Ronggan.

Wilson Chandler will return from China in February and this says he'll consider going back to Denver, but New York would be an option.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. Underrated guy who can play the 2-3-4, provide some defense and plenty of offensive pop.

Wilson Chandler would be a fucking GODSEND.

I heard Nene is a FA. Can we get him?

No. He'll get a big contract while the Knicks are only looking at giving 1 year deals.

Would love to get Chandler back....out of all the young guys we traded for Melo, he was the one I was most upset we had to give up

I really like Chandler...and he's tearing it up in China (avg like 43 a game lol)...

he'd be a good fit for the knicks.

Would love chandler back, we could play him at the 2 when Melo and Amar'e are on the court, the 3 when only Amar'e is on the court, and possibly play him at the 4 when Melo and Fields are in.

Still need a center. Dalembert would be nice to have. Exactly what we could use. At this point, I much rather fill out of lineup and bench then get paul. Melo and Amar'e are enough.

Ian O'Connor earlier in the week making the case that no matter how much Paul wants to come to NY, they can't make it happen (not enough assets, not enough money), so they should focus on Howard by putting Amare or Melo in play.

                      Getting interesting now.

Knicks are in on Tyson Chandler and could ultimately get rid of Billups & Tauriaf to make room (sign the center to a 4-year deal with $14 mil per).

UPDATE -- Billups is pissed about this going down. He's likely getting amnestied. Chandler is close to a 4-year, $58 million deal with the Knicks.

If Baron Davis gets cut via amnesty, the Knick will be interested in bringing him on board, too.

                          The official 3-team trade….

                          DAL gets:

-G Andy Rautins (will be waived)
-Future 2nd Round Draft Pick from Washington

                          WAS gets:

                          -C Ronny Turiaf
-2013 2nd Round Draft pick from NY
-2012 2nd Round Draft pick from DAL

                          NY gets:

                          -C Tyson Chandler
                          -Draft rights to Ahmad Nivins
                          -Draft rights to Giorgos Printezis

(Knicks also waived Billups as their amnesty player, taking his $14.2 million salary out of cap consideration)

Landry Fields gave up the #6 to Chandler

-Nivins is a 6'9 PF, drafted by Dallas in 2009, released and has been playing in Europe since
-Printezis is a 6'9 F drafted by the Spurs in 2007 (who traded him to Toronto and then to Dallas and now to NY), and has been playing in Europe since

Horrible idea with Bibby, but other than that I do like what the Knicks are doing. Why the hell is Bibby still getting looks? You could easily find someone better for the point who actually plays a lick of defense.

Exactly...you bring in Tyson to preach "DEFENSE"...Bibby = "NO DEFENSE"

Mfer can move from side to side to save his life
