Love the trade, hate having to give up Billups.

Any word where he wants to go?

A contender with Miami at the top of the list most likely.

He'd be an amazing fit for Miami. I really hope he doesn't go there.

Yeah I do not want to see Billups land in Miami

Word is, we're trying to bring back Jamal Crawford....Tony Douglas would be one of the pieces traded to make that happen

I do not like that, Douglas is the only guard we have that can defend the perimeter.....maybe Shumpert can too, but the jury is still out on him

Melo hyperextended his knee in practice and is day-to-day.

Don't you know? Chandler fills our ENTIRE defensive quota. He'll handle everything on that side of the court! No need to have Douglas clogging up D'Antoni's scheme by playing defense when we have Chandler!

Shumpert has been doing amazing things in camp and during the offseason. I'm excited about him. He'll be good in the second unit covering for Bibby's mistakes.

If we could get Jamal Crawford, we'll have a great roster imo.

                  Douglas/Bibby
                  Crawford/Fields
                  Melo/Shumpert
                  Amare
                  Chandler

We really could use another back up big. We have Balkman, Jeffries, and I think Williams who can play the backup 4. If we can land Crawford or Davis to play the 1 or 2, then we need to find a backup big. Let's not forget that Amar'e will be out at least a couple games this year for whatever reason.

Jamal Crawford to Portland, Shawne Williams to NJ. Knicks have to solidify the bench. And I'm concerned about A'mare with this killer schedule.

That is one of the worst PG situations in the league. That is not a "great roster," bro. The front court looks solid (the starters at least) but I see very little depth or back court help.

We know you think Bibby is shit, you wont find much argument from me. So what when he'll only be playing 15-20 min per night Max.

And Tony Douglas will be playing the other 30 minutes ...

Tony Douglas and Mike Bibby's corpse is not exactly a duo I'd expect to find on a "great" roster.

Stevenson would be a good sign for the Knicks here IMO...

No, it isn't a great roster. No depth at forward. But they do have if not the best frontcourt, one of the best and potential rich guards.
