It's Amar'e's left knee - oy vay. Can he get through the season?

Another injury as Chandler sprained his knee and although they don't expect it to be anything serious, he was seen on crutches after their final pre-season game tonight.

Opener is next Thursday night vs. Brooklyn.

20 guys are signed (rumors have had them considering Josh Howard and Chris Birdman Anderson at various points, too) but only 15 spots.

Seems like Rasheed is definitely getting a chance to make the team. That leaves 1 spot and IMO Copeland deserves it after playing well in the summer and in pre-season.

They better not keep Chris Smith just to make sure JR doesn't get sour.

They have to get down to 15 players by Monday

Copeland should definitely get that spot. I watched some of the preseason game vs Boston and he played well.

With the extra day before tomorrow's Heat opener, Chandler & Camby both expected to play.

Knicks couldn't have asked for a better game to start the season. Novak doing his thing, Felton played well, Melo put 30 up, Brewer's a nice player, Kidd will find his groove and JR Smith as his usual offensive punch off the bench.

Plus, Rasheed made his debut.

Good game from the Knicks. Melo couldn't miss after a bit in the 1st quarter. Felton/Kidd proved to be a solid PG combo.

This can be a dangerous team if they can put the pieces together and stay healthy.

Much better ball movement and defense. I agree with what Coach Woodson said after the game - everyone will benefit from having Jason Kidd on this team.

Amar'e should definitely come off the bench when he's healthy again.

Damn I wish Shump was playing.
