A league source on Thursday confirmed a New York Daily News report that the NBA will make Lin part of the field for the Haier Shooting Stars competition during All-Star Saturday night. That would enable Lin to join Shumpert's dunk routine as well. NBA commissioner David Stern told USA Today earlier this week that Lin will not be a special late addition to the annual Rising Stars game featuring rookies and second-year players at All-Star Weekend.

Fisola says they're working on a deal with Smith, but they need to cut a player from the roster. Jerome James? Balkman? Don't see them cutting Douglas or Davis.

JR Smith in NY could be good, but it could also be horribly bad. People are getting nervous about Melo' taking shots......wait until they see JR Smith. LOL....at least Melo is an elite and proven player. I've always liked JR Smith, but IMO he really sells himself short due to his attitude and desire to simply be a 3-point shooter. He has so much more ability.

Lins knows he has to get the turnovers down, and he also knows he'll have to pull back on the amount of FG attempts....I like that he recognizes the weak points and I have confidence he will correct them

It's funny, we have to keep D'Antoni now because I doubt another coach will get this type of production out of him....Lin wasn't cut twice by accident, he was in systems that wasn't condusive to his talents

I've been harsh on D'Antoni and while he'll never be a fav coach of mine, I will throw him a bouquet and say:
