This Knicks team is made up more of those Nuggets than those Knicks. Melo, Smith & Jeffries are the only 3 left.



BTW, Melo is doubtful to play tonight. Next game is vs. Dallas Sunday.

About how the Knicks should be able to keep Fields & Lin as RFA's using early bird rights. However, the bad news is they will have to use their $5 mil mid-level exception to do it. So they won't be able to bring in anyone with it.

I love him in 2K - fast, terrific defender, finishes strong around the basket and grabs every rebound. Jeffries can't make a layup to save his life.

Man, sucks this streak had to end against the Hornets at home. They played better though and made the plays.

1. TURNOVERS! Lin had something like 8 in the first quarter alone. Fields had some sloppy passes, Shumpert too.

2. I know Amar'e gets hacked half the time he's in the paint and he gets maybe 1/4 of the calls he should. But he really needs to stop shouting after every trip in when he misses.

3. The fuck was Fields thinking when they couldn't afford a foul at the end of the game, hacking the guy when he & Jeffries had him right where they wanted?

4. Couldn't make the shots when they needed them the most. They had their opportunities.

Dallas comes in Sunday. Melo is a question mark and who knows how they'll work Smith into the rotation.

Lin can score 20, but man does he need to cut down the TOs. They came back to bite them on the ass here, as we've been talking about all week.

Jared Jeffries played a great game, worth mentioning.
