Lakers executive Jim Buss says he's no longer opposed to trading Andrew Bynum, but only for what he calls "the right deal."
Buss is willing to trade his oft. injured center for Dwight Howard!?

Obviously the knee injury is a concern but Butler woul dbe a nice fit at the 2 guard spot....and...if he works out...(possibly)makes Deng expendable to a certain extent. That's getting WAY ahead of ourselves at this point...but....Comment

Really hope the Mavs can retain Chandler. Love this team, hate to see anyone go at this point but it's going to happen.Comment

Chris Paul has formally requested a trade to the Knicks.
His agent told New Orleans he won't sign an extension and he prefers the Knicks. So the only way a deal could get done is if a 3rd team gets involved since NY has nothing.

Also, Deron Williams' agent says he will opt out at the end of the year because of the new rules which allow him to make more money then. Perhaps he'll stick around for Brooklyn but he'll become a free agent first.

You guys have to remember Paul, James, Wade and Anthony are butt buddy's who've been talking about this for probably a year. In order to win a championship you're going to have to be on a team with multiple stars. Dallas beat Miami, but Miami was still only in year one.....imagine how good they'll be going forward? Everyone knew Paul has been wanting to go to NY....at least he's admitted it now.
NY is still going to need to focus on defense though if for no other reason, but because Miami does. However, right now NY doesn't have a leader that has the credibilty to cause Anthony and Stoudemire to work harder on defense.........Paul should provide that. Chris Paul could get them going, as when's he's on and healthy he's the best PG in the league.
If he doesn't force his way to the Lakers the next move will be Dwight Howard and Deron Williams teaming up.Comment
