Is Mike Conley above average now? He has been noticeably non-shitty in the few times I've seen him this season.

Still glad the Hawks dodged the bullet of taking him #3 overall, but good for Memphis that he might come remotely close to living up to the extension some day.

IIRC, he played pretty well last season. This season has been a struggle for him shooting the ball. I saw some stats on NBA TV last night that he's shooting something like 38% and just over 30% from 3. He'll never live up to that contract, but he's definitely a serviceable PG considering all the weapons Memphis has.

Everyone figured his jumper would hold him back in the NBA, and sure enough it has. I think serviceable is a nice word. I see him developing a nice drive and kick game, needs to do much more of that.

In fairness to Conley...If I went to high school and college with Greg Oden, I wouldn't bother developing a jump shot either.

His finishing reminds me of Derrick Rose as a rookie. Himself alone has made Cavs game a lot more enjoyable this year. He's averaging over 22 a game in his last 5.
