Meh. I wouldn't give so much credit to Kirk as I would the Bulls coach Thibodeau.

He's getting this group of misfits to play good defense in the first two games so far.

27 and 7 for the Killa last night...should have been going to OT, but the homer official scorer started the clock late on Jennings 3. What a fuckery job. WE DESERVED OT FOR THAT SICK FLOATER TO TIE IT

Kyrie played great at the end of the fourth quarter, really took the game over. Scored the Cavs last 13 points, including that sick with .7 seconds left

The Killa outduels Chris Paul. 23 pts 10 assists to Pauls 17/9.

Not to mention the DAGGER 3 with 28 seconds left to steal it.

The Cavaliers are a must-watch on NBA League pass right now..

If you miss one game you'll miss some Kyrie heroics

Tough night at the office for the Killa...28 pts on 10-22 shooting with 7assists 6boards...Battled flu like symptoms all day and still put up numbers.

Cavs REALLY missed Varejao, not a shocker. Landry and Lee were unstoppable. Ugly shooting night for Waiters[5-15] and bum ass CJ Miles [3-11]. Miles is 11-40 on the year. Horrendous. Thompson played well, but him and Kyrie weren't enough especially after falling behind 16 after the 1st.

Hopefully Varejao can play Friday at Phoenix

Brutal loss for the Cavs. Got out to a 26 point lead early, blew it...went back up 98-91 then choked again. Not a great game for Kyrie..17 pts 8 dimes, but 7 turnovers. Waiters balled out again scoring 23. I do have a problem with how much Waiters handled the PG duties in the 4th quarter. From about the 6 minute mark all the way down till 1 minute left, Waiters was bringing the ball up and running the offense. I get that he is capable of doing this, but to have your best player sitting in the corner on every possession not even touching the ball is not smart.

CJ Miles had another fantastic performance off the bench, going 0-7 from the field. He needs to be cut ASAP.

I think Byron needs to look at the possibility of starting Gibson at the 2 and bringing Waiters off the bench. The second unit of Sloan/Gibson/Miles/Samuels is atrocious. No body in that lineup can create their own shot. Put Waiters in charge of that second unit and let him run the point. Atleast Waiters can get something going or set others up.

Mad respect for the Cavs after tonight's game. watched them ice the Clippers the other night and was impressed with Waiters, but even moreso now that I watched him for a second game. Super exciting match which made for a great bar night here in Phoenix. my favorite Aunt is from Cleveland, so maybe I have some bias, but Waiters/Irving backcourt is so good that I feel like I'm watching a killer band while they are still playing local shows waiting for major record deal we all know is coming. They're going to be stars.

Late to respond, but deserves props nonetheless. I watched that game as it happened and the whole goddamn bar was like "OOOOOOOOHHHH." We're in Phoenix, as much as we hate the Lakers we didn't give a shit about either team but it was the prime time game. Blew us the fuck away how ice cold that was. Staples center went DEAD quiet. Opened a lot of peoples eyes. There's 6 and 7 year pros who would have bricked that and just walked away not even feeling bad about it. Huge, huge games in the development of a young player.

Good lord this team is bad.

The KILLA put up 34 and 8 dimes last night...thanks in large part to an unstoppable pick and roll game with Andy V. Varejao had 35 and 18 . The Kyrie/AndyV pick and roll game is something serious tho. League better be on notice. The only other person in double figures was TT with 14. And the bench contributed a whopping SIX POINTS. Waiters was 3-16

All in all, the Cavs absolutely HAVE TO go out and sign some scrubs to come off the bench. I guarantee there are better players sitting at home on their couch or even in the D-league. Jon Leuer is our 1st guy off the bench right now with Boobie. Thankfully Byron has completely stopped playing CJ Bum Miles.

Killa had 26 points and 0 assist. He needs to be better about that.

I like Irving. Young exciting player. I like his game but he needs to get his guys involved more. You guys think he'll stay with the Cavs?

Ralaw and Realist, do you see who he has to work with? his supporting cast is quite awful, and KI happens to be their best shooter.

I am fully aware of who is is playing with, but he has the ball in his hands 85% of the time and it isn't as if he plays in a local rec league. There are some guys on the team that can make a basket. He has to do a better job at getting guys the ball in positions to be successful.

BTW, I love me some Irving, and have so for several years, so this I know he has the ability.
