I followed the lady cats a little bit this year (when I noticed that they made the tournament). I thought they looked pretty decent until that 26 point effort against UConn.

I guess the difference for me is that when I watch women’s basketball I don’t watch it through the eyes of expecting an above the rim, up and down game. I watch it for what I know the athletes can do. For me it’s just watching basketball. I just enjoy watching people play basketball regardless of the talent.

      True story

As I’ve mentioned before my wife and I go to a lot of highschool basketball games. My son who is 3 years old goes with us. In my area the girls game is before the boys game. My son plays basketball and I don’t think he likes women’s basketball. I say this because numerous times this season when the girls game ended he turns and ask, “Daddy, are the girls finished?” I respond, “Yes”. He then says, “Hooray, the boys are coming soon!” My wife is like WTF? LOL.

Women's basketball is what it is. I disagree with FedEx in that I find that women's basketball us just too sloppy for my taste. Way too many turnovers, bad team defense, etc. If you have a girl who can handle the ball AND score, you are pretty much set.

That said, I respect the women that play the game. I used to play against a girl who was a DII All-American. She was tall for a girl, but not crazy tall. She could pass and shoot, but she was also as strong as an ox. I was impressed with her rebounding more than anything. Still, you could stop her on defense because she wasn't explosive or fast enough to get around you and also put up a decent shot. Finally, she was hot as hell.

I'll just assume everything positive you said was slanted by this fact.

I don't really follow college for any sport, but i recall earlier this month hearing about all the NCAA stuff on ESPN, and being like cool its time for some quality basketball... then actually reading the articles and realizing it was just womens shit.

good luck making pennies in Turkey ladies. Enjoy your moment in the sun. noone will give a shit about you when you go to the "pro's" unless they want to have sex with you.

p.s. after all these years I still cant decide whether I think Diana Taurasi is hot or not.

I think it's sloppy as hell too. All I said was the basis of the game is more team-oriented and ball movement dependent. Doesn't make it good or any less sloppy or make any girl who is 6'2 and above unstoppable. I still can't stand it.

I once covered a high school game where a girl who was 6'5 scored 45 points and had 37 rebounds just because her arms were longer than the others.

Terrible post, but I hope you're just being goofy.

I'll explain. Posting a video of Blake Griffin or any dude dunking to discredit a female dunking is so elementary. It would be like me saying a Honda Accord isn't fast, because a Mustang is faster. The fact is much like women's and men's basketball the cars are different even though they fall under the title of "car". It's just an ignorant comparison and even more ignorant when you try to discredit one because of the other.

IMO this is the issue that many of you have is that you watch women's basketball with the expectation of what men do. You simply can't do this.....its a different game. I'll admit that it is for some and not for others, but this is no different from any other sport. I'm sure I feel that same way about watching baseball that many of you feel about watching women's basketball.

                  Taurasi isn't hot.

The womens ball player yall should be talking about is Elena Delle Donne.

Nations leading scorer, put up HUGE numbers in Delawares 2 tournament games.

                      She could get it

Other than looks Delle Donne has nothing on Griner. Don't get me wrong Delle Donne is a great player, but Griner is going to go go down as an all-time great. If Delle Donne hadn't backed out of her UCONN commitment she probably would have been better known. She still takes a lot of heat for that that even if it was for her family.

Having said all of that I'm sure your post was less about basketball and more about looks, so carry on.
