I prefer Rome to the other ESPN clowns because everyone on ESPN is an assbag (like Jeremy Schaap), and at least Rome is upfront about it. Idiots like Bayliss and Kornheiser always act like they've been betrayed if someone disagrees with them or says something they don't like. Thats why I think Rome is wrong for pouting and saying he's hurt by Stern's words...the old Rome would NEVER have done anything like that.Comment

I used to listen to Rome's radio show when I lived in California many years ago, and he was awesome. It was just him, so when he wasn't talking there would just be uncomfortable silence.

A few years ago he had an interview with Jim Boeheim and for the next 5 minutes after the interview the show consisted of Rome saying "Jim freaking Boehiem" over and over like he was shocked he got a guest of such stature.
Rome's entire schtick and show sucks.Comment

Rome has always been annoying to me. From the idiotic "smack offs" or whatever he has where his callers call in and get into arguments or talk shit to eachother is lame.

He's fucking boring. All he's going to do is ask Stern some soft ass questions. Who wants to listen to Stern ramble on about how good he thinks the NBA is?
Stern is a tool and he can't handle a simple question with a simple answer. Rome's question was totally fair and was not worded poorly. Who cares if he baited him? Stern played right into it and it's completely his own damn fault. Stern's behavior was totally unbecoming of a commissioner of a major sports league.Comment
