Still have to ask the question. You can't host a radio show with the mindset of "Oh well someone else has already asked him so I won't"
    I give rep not thanks

That's not what I was addressing. I understand you have to ask the question, but the key point is in how you ask the question.

They were in agreement to sell the team but no deal had been finalized. Stern even admitted as much in the interview with Rome.

"It's such a joke that the league made the new owners be at the lottery for the show," one high-ranking team executive told Yahoo! Sports. "The league still owns the Hornets. Ask their front office if new owners can make a trade right now. They can't. This is a joke."
That was from a Woj article discussing the same questions that Rome had about the appeared improprieties of the lottery. Woj is no hack.

And Rome asked it the way Rome asks questions. I don't see how that is a problem.

Which leads to my initial issue of Rome being a shit host in general.

The way he asked it was just fine.

But a ton of people liked the way he asked the question. So they are just all wrong?

So Stern, wanted the Hornets, who were already sold..to get the 1st pick..that the NBA wouldn't even get to use?

Conspiracy theorists would tell you that the 1st overall pick was included in the purchase of the team.

They weren't sold though... The NBA still technically owned them.

So then why the charade of the "sale not having gone through yet?"

Hmm, maybe Stern should start calling in and acting like one of those idiot Clones and he'd get the schtick.

Even if true...the logic still holds..the NBA was going to sell them so they wouldn't be using the pick anyways.

BRB, NBA going to gift the Hornets the #1 pick but still allow them to trade Chris Paul.
