IMO without getting Howard the deal for Joe Johnson looks bad now. If you get Howard you can justify the contract, because you're certainly a top 3 team in the east for years to come, but without Howard you're a 50 win team that losses in the 2nd round. Lopez is a solid big man, but they had to resign him, so it is what it is. Howard screwed this all up.
