Who was the Heat's second unit?
So . . . . Deron Williams, Joe old ass Johnson and Wallace = LeBron, D-Wade and Bosh??? Every other team needs their bench, hell even the Heat did in the Finals.

The Heat will have to play the 76ers in the Eastern Conference Finals I think the 76ers are a lock for the 2nd seed.

Yeah, I was anxious to see what Harkless had myself. We'll one thing I do know is that you won't beat the Heat on the perimeter, but you can beat them inside and that now is our strength. In addition, the Heat will dismantle in a few years and the 76ers would still be young enough to take over the East at that time provided we can keep Bynum.

We just built the Bradley Center 20-30 years ago or at least thats the excuse given on why we can't build another one.

We also got Nick Young who has all sorts of potential and is longer (6-7")than the guy he's replacing Lou Williams who was only 6-1".

We also brought in Dorell Wright who is a 6-9" forward that has gone under the radar. This guy is a quality player who can shoot the 3 similar to Paul Geogre of Indiana. Not to mention that our players (Holiday, Turner, Hawes, Young, Allen)will be another year older and more mature.

How many NBA teams have a player large enough to SEAL THE PAINT? The 76ers have 2 guys!! Bynum and Brown at 285 lbs each.....Do you know how huge that is? Why do you think Kendrick Perkins has a job right now on one good leg?

How about losing your best perimeter defender?

This will come down to how well Turner can take that next step iMO. He's going to take that SF role and he HAS to become something of worth at the pick he was picked at.

I do like the depth the Sixers have @ center and guard though.

Ya, gotta say, I like Philly's new direction. Iggy was a solid player, but he was being paid more than he was contributing. Not sure why Denver does this move, unless it was primarily to get Harrington's long contract off their books.

Holiday, Turner, Thad, Bynum. Solid young core to build around. Wonder if Richardson can embrace being a vet presence, but I doubt it. Also, Nick Young being a backup wing is nice, Kwame and Spencer depth in the post is great. Solid team overall, probably will be top 3-4 this year in the east.

Good thing you guys got Bynum. They can rotate taking games off.

The issue the Lakers still have is that Gasol is still a stretch-forward thanks to Mike Brown.

                              It's not hard people.

Heat's starts did better than the Thunder's stars. LeBron played better than Durant. It's quite simple lol.
Wrong. It's obviously all about the 7th & 8th man off the bench.

This thread is silly in many ways.

Philly is going nowhere. They traded their best player and brought in a lazy, immature malcontent who probably can't mentally handle being a number one option. And hearing people talk about Jason f'n Richardson as being some sort of difference maker is comical. He shoots better free throws than Iggy! Lol, who cares?

The Sixers are a middling playoff team at best.

And Orlando took it up the ass by getting a a pile of trash in return. Four team trade, Orlando gives up the best player, and they get the worst package back in return.

This is why is so hard to take the NBA seriously. The players call all the shots, and 90% of the teams recycle the same shitty players and shitty coaches while the same five teams contend for the title and collect all of the great players. What a terrible league.
