    1. Dwight knows this is Kobe's team. He understands that coming in.

    2. Dwight barely was the first option on the fucking MAGIC! He only shot the ball 13 tiHe got 2 more shots per game than JASON RICHARDSON. Not to mention, Bynum shot the same amount of shots as Dwight so he can slide in there just fine.

Dwight will get his on the offensive glass. His offense is too limited to be a true #1 option.

Kobe Bryant is the alpha male on the new "Super Friends" Lakers.

Gasol and Nash are Euro Canadians. They don't care about being alpha males.

Dwight Howard is an athletic freak who can neither spell athletic or freak ... he will fall in line.

Kobe is the alpha male here.
      My bad player.

You think Dwight won't get pissed when Kobe has one of those 7-25 nights?

I hope Gasol will be the player he was before that bum Mike Brown got to LA.

And how often does kobe have a 7-25 night? 3-4 times a season?

Dwight knows he's the anchor of the defense, not the offense. He's gonna get his 20 off the offensive glass alone. He's was barely a #1 option on the Magic and that was only because they didn't have a single player who could create their own shot. This is why they brought in Gilbert Arenas and brought back Hedo. I'm pretty sure Dwight will be happy with his 20-12-4 nights

Actually if you watched a good portion of Lakers games Kobe had good amount of those games.

If you check his game logs Kobe had about 30 games last season where Kobe shot like that.

On this team, Howard has to embrace the Tyson Chandler role on team USA. Rebounds and defence. Howard doesn't even have to worry about any offence in this lineup other than high percentage low post scoring.

And if you watched a good amount of his games he's more likely to make a game winning shot than miss. I also hope you were able to catch his previous 5 championships as he played pretty spectacular in those as well.

Exactly, Lakers only need Dwight on offense for put backs and kick outs. They may run the occasional pick and roll for the alley oop among other plays but the majority of shots will be taken by Kobe and Pau. I think Nash is gonna play more of a distributor than a scorer, not saying he won't get his points though I just see him as the 3rd to 4th option in a half court set.

I did check his game logs and he had 18 games where he shot an under 40% FG percentage.

                      Thank you come again.

Kobe played 58 games. So you're saying in a majority of his games last season he shot over 45% from the field. Sounds pretty impressive to me.

Edit: And in an overwhelming majority he shot over 40% from the field.

You think 45% is impressive? Are you counting the amount of shots Kobe takes a game?

Kobe averaged about 23 shots a game last year while shooting 43% thats just pathetic.

Since when is shooting a majority of your games over 45% pathetic? Maybe by Kobe standards its pathetic.

You're also forgetting he averaged more PPG than Lebron James and was just barely beaten for the scoring title by Kevin Durant. Both those players are bigger, stronger and get to the basketball more than Kobe. Kobe's age has begun to catch up with him and he doesn't get to the basketball as much as he used to. Again, if you played the sport you would know that the closer your shot, typically the higher your FG%. Same reason why post players typically have the best FG% in the league. Hell, according to your logic, Pau Gasol is a better scorer than Kevin Durant, I mean he shot a better FG% than him. Dwight Howard is also apparently a more offensive threat than the top 3 scorers in the league (KD, Kobe, and LBJ).

For the kind of shots Kobe takes, having a majority of your games with a greater than 45% FG percentage is impressive. He's not dunking the ball every other play, 4 out of 5 of his shots are jump shots.
