    Lakers To Pursue LeBron James?

    Rotoworld

Multiple reports suggest that the Lakers may be ready to make a serious run at LeBron James in 2014.

Kobe Bryant's contract expires that year and he's expected to retire, and Jim Buss spoke about wanting to team another superstar alongside a (hopefully) re-signed Dwight Howard, and point guard Steve Nash, who will be in the final year of his deal that season. This is just speculation, but it's clear the Lakers have built their salary structure with a goal of making a huge splash in 2014, and LeBron has to be their obvious first choice as of now.

So Lebron's legacy will be that of a championship chasing mercenary?

That would be a sick team (LeBron and Howard), but not gonna happen.

Honestly, that's not that bad of a legacy. Better than not having a ring at all.

LeBron and Howard would go down as one of the greatest duos ever.

Honestly, I wouldn't be too mad at seeing those 2 team up. Would be historic to say the least.

The Bobcats and Wizards don't count as teams ... unless the Wizards suddenly are the 1977 Bullets.
