Kobe is speaking the truth. James' game is more tailored for a team game. Playing one on one is about ball handling, creativity, range, etc all of which are strengths of Kobe's game.

I remember in 1990 (?), there was a big 1-on-1 basketball tournament with college players. It was interesting, because there were guards, forwards, centers. Trying to remember some of the guys...Bo Kimble, Travis Mays, Bimbo Coles. Chris Jackson of LSU (Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf) was by far the smallest guy, but he killed everyone. No one could stop him because he could hit from the outside or drive past you. He ended up losing in the Finals to Sean Higgins of Michigan when his shooting went cold. Higgins was kind of a tall forward, but no one expected him to win.
