Right because there's a huge rift between Roy Hibbert and the Pacers. This logic is what puts teams in financial hell. Wall has been injured every season of his career. The smart move would be to actually wait and see if Wall can play at max level for an entire season before giving him a guaranteed 5 year max contract.

I do find it funny though that fans always complain about disloyal players but never expect the same loyalty from the organization.Comment

You're completely full of shit. Apparently your idea of loyalty is just handing out however much money a player wants regardless if they're worth that much.

When have I EVER said the Wizards shouldn't resign Wall? He's not worth a max contract at this point in time but that doesn't mean they shouldn't resign him.

I still have no idea what you're talking about...Comment

I'm not even necessarily talking about you there.
A lot of fans get pissed at guys (like Jennings for example) who turn down extensions and test FA for being "disloyal". Why don't organizations who choose not to offer extensions get the same "disloyalty" tag?
That's all.Comment

Charlotte is finalizing a three-year, $18 million extension with restricted free agent guard Gerald Henderson, league sources tell Y!
Word is there's an opt out after year 2. Hendo took less money to have the chance to be unrestricted earlier. Great re-signing by Charlotte, got a solid piece back on a good deal. Only the 2nd 1st round pick in 10 years that we've re-signed (Emeka Okafor being the other).Comment
