I like the Brooklyn trade, biggest thing is they got rid of Crash's contract and the presence of KG will help Brook a lot.

A team I like on paper right now is the Wizards. They have a youthful back court with a veteran front court, as long as the injury bug doesn't hit, I can see them taking the 6 or 7 seed.

The east IS going to be weaker. Boston, Atlanta and Milwaukee will fall off with Washington and possibly Cleveland or Toronto replacing them.

Basically every other team besides those last 3 and Miami, Chicago, Indiana, Brooklyn and New York is going to be easy pickings. The Knicks will likely be worse as well considering J.R. Smith is gonna go somewhere else to get paid.

They are also gonna have a large number of players who are old as shit and declining fast. There will be some nights when they just don't have the legs.

lol some of you guys are really overrating the moves the Nets made, Garnett is basically a center now and Pierce looked like complete shit at times during this past season. The Nets would be great if this was 2010.

Starting 5 after the trade is better than the 5 before.

                          Also older and less athletic.

Because the always-injured Crash is still some superior athlete and Kris K. is alpha athletic.

If they are better, who cares if they are older or less athletic. The team that was younger and more athletic has won 1 of the last three championships. The Mavs were older and slower, the Heat were older and not as athletic as the Thunder, but the more athletic and younger Heat were a defensive rebound away from making it 0-3 for the younger and more athletic teams.

At best the Nets are a 4-5 seed.
