    Exactly my thoughts on it

5.5 million over 4 years is bad? I think based on the market its just about right.

The money isn't bad. The years are. Especially for a guy who by all accounts had a career-year last season. It doesn't really matter in the large sense, but it drives the market up for other role players ala Kyle Korver.

The real key you're seeing this offseason, if you know how to shoot threes, you're going to make bank.

This is exactly what I said when I saw the Webster contract, this is a guy who should be on year-to-year contracts, at best a 2 year deal. His agent did well.

Unless you're Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis.

IMO Splitter at $36M over 4 years is pretty bad. He plays a role now, but much of his success and purpose hinges on Duncan and he doesn't have many more years left.

Well Jennings is 35% 3pt and 56.3 eFG from there and Ellis is 31% and 43.7% eFG. They may take a lot of them, but they aren't very good at it.

I was kind of wondering what the fuck he was talking about there.

This is the same league that is now on a schedule to restructure the collective bargaining agreement twice-a-decade to help curb owners atrocious spending. The "market" is exactly the problem where a guy like Martell Webster 5M+ per over the course of four years guaranteed.

Kobe's message to Dwight, basically; "Let me patronize you again, because that's worked so well in the past."

Y! Sources: Kobe Bryant's message to Dwight Howard in Tuesday's meeting: Let me teach you how to be a champion.

this guy needs to be punched in the face.
