That Andrew Bynum signing just might be a big coup for the Cavs...if he plays and Kyrie plays...that's a strong team.Comment

I like that signing and the deal is great for the Cavs. Only $6M guaranteed and the rest is in incentives. If he plays he will be worth the $24M. People can say what they want about him, but when he is healthy he is at the very least the 2nd best C in the game.Last edited by ralaw; 07-11-2013, 06:06 AM.Comment

Some who cover the Hawks are saying he never displayed enough leadership qualities, but I don't know how valid of a criticism that is. It is funny that he's staying with Larry Drew, who I feel stunted his development a lot by failing to trust him more in crunch time of games and jerking his minutes around. LD was constantly calling him out in post-games for not being more aggressive also, so it will be an interesting relationship to watch.Last edited by NAHSTE; 07-11-2013, 10:57 AM.Comment

Chauncey Billups agreed on a two-year, $5 million-plus contract to play for the Pistons.Comment

Supposedly Detroit wants to move Brandon Knight to the 2. Chauncey would fill in at the 1 with Calderon being his backup (maybe vice versa?).
Wouldn't be surprised if Stuckey, Knight or KCP get moved at some point this offseason or before the trade deadline. Pretty deep rotation they have going though.Comment

Calderon left for Dallas. They picked up the option on Stuckey and re-signed Bynum, which makes this signing all the more strange. I highly doubt they plan on Chauncey starting, id imagine Knight will man the 1 and one of Stuckey, Singler, KCP, or Kim English will fill in at the 2. Add in Bynum, Siva and Middleton and that is a shit ton of guards on one roster. A couple guys gotta go for sure.Comment
