In all of his reseasrch he would have notice Beverley played overseas the past 4 years. But I guess you can't find that in a stat line.

Beverly's at-rim assists per game: 1.1
Lin's: 3.2 (which is actually really high in the league, he just needs to cut down on turnovers or get better at it).
You could argue Beverly wasn't really in the game to do that, but what's proven to you that he can be a reliable, starting PG for a team like Houston?Comment

I do both quite equally (and in large amounts I might add) actually. The only thing of note that Beverley did last year was injure Westbrook in the playoffs. He's a pretty good defensive player and rebounder, but not a guy that you want starting. Maybe if he can hit that 3 at closer to a 40% clip (ala Chalmers) he'd warrant being the starting 5. Doubt it though, because then basically all playmaking duties would fall on Harden's shoulders. JH is one of the best pick and roll ballhandlers in the league but he's not LeBron when it comes to orchestrating the offense from a non-PG spot.Comment

Any Pelican fan that is on board with the trade Eric gordon wagon should automatically be ignored. There are too many of them because he has played only 1 game where he was fully healthy.

EJ is still the best player on the team when healthy. If I'm NOLA I don't even think about trading him unless he has another season where he misses a ton of games.Comment

Only way he gets traded(which is still a real possibility) is if Dell gets an offer that he really can't refuse. This season will be the 1st time he has been 100% since hitting that game winner the 1st game of the shortened season.

Lol I was at that game in PHX, people were raging so hard. Such a nice shot.Comment

They need a PG that can pass/run P&R without turning it over, shoot the 3 at a high rate and defend. Lin can do none of these things.
I legitimately think Jennings is a good choice for HOU. The guy is only a chucker because he had to be #1 option in MIL, despite that he shot 38% from 3 on nearly 200 makes last year and he's an excellent defender.Comment

On a purely basketball sense, he turns the ball over too much and isn't the most crisp passer. He needs to get better at entry passes and better at protecting the ball and now just looking for his shot. I think he'd be fine, but with that $15 million price tag looming he becomes all the more expendable.Comment

He's fine, the issue is the Poision Pill for him and Asik next year. Both are due to make $15 million which isn't bad but if they want to put a full CHAMPIONSHIP team around Dwight and Harden one of two definitely have to go unless Houston wants to pay through the nose in luxury tax.
