Not saying he's responsible for it but the "oh anyone can coach that team to a championship" narrative is pretty poor.
You're right. Lebron James isn't that good at all and is lucky to have Spoelstra telling him what to do. It's crazy to think where he would have been without that great coaching mind.

That's exactly what I said. Thanks for totally grasping my point.

Not really going to waste my time for a "LULZ LEBRON IS GOOD YOU IDIOT, IT DONT MATTER WHO COACHES HIM" post so here's some reading if you're actually serious about learning:

Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has created an offensive attack that maximizes the abilities of his best players. He has literally put them in a place to succeed...

Heat in Year 1 with LeBron and Year 2 and forward are completely different teams. The difference was Spo going from being just a guy on the bus (which he was in the first year, where he got this GenPop reputation for being that guy) to being the GPS.

Exactly. He let the inmates run the asylum the first year and what we saw was Take-Turn ISO sets and Wade and LeBron getting equal parts of the offense.

Since then they've completely transformed their sets, LeBron has become the primary ballhandler, Bosh was instructed to learn how to shoot threes and they are so much more fluid and spread out and rarely if ever run straight ISO.

I agree 100%. Lebron wouldn't be anywhere without Spoelstra.

You should disappear for half the year like Roy Hibbert.

Do the Knicks pull the trigger on Mark Jackson if Steve Kerr keeps pussyfooting around?

Not a chance. Whether it's Kerr or not, the new coach will be someone from Phil Jackson's circle.
