We have seen what Smith and Moss do when they have no QB (IE last year with Smith and few years ago when Moss was with OAK) they were good but not great, you could mkae the case Moss was garbage yet here you have johnson with 4 diffrent QBs still putting up great numbers.
Well if you look at Mosses career with Oakland,he wasnt happy to be there and had no motivation to play.Moss had already established himself as a superstar and only had one year left on his contract when he left,he knew any team would take him.Now Johnson is still establishing himself this year. Not that he is establishing himself as a superstar, but to make sure he avoids the sophomore slump.I have watched alot of Johnson, last year i thought he was OK nothing special. This year he has showed he might be the best young receiver in the game, rivaled only by fellow NFC North receiver Greg Jennings.I'm not denying that he isnt a superstar, just this year not the best receiver. He still has some trouble catching in traffic and sometimes he runs before he catches the ball. All in all a great player.

If you want my list of top WR's in the NFL.

      1. Randy Moss
      2. Steve Smith
      3. Larry Fitzgerald
      4. Andre Johnson
      5. Anqaun Boldin
      6. Reggie Wayne
      7. Terrel Owens
      8. Roddy White
      9. Calvin Johnson
      10. Hines Ward

Because of poor play this year, players like Chad Johnson,Braylon Edwards,Tj Houshmendzadeh,Brandon Marshall,Marvin Harrison were left out.Granted Marshall had a good year,he was just a little inconsistent.Other great receivers like Greg Jennings,Donald Driver,Lee Evans,Wes Welker,Jerricho Cotchery,Laveranues Coles,Tory Holt, were left out because of the great play of wide receivers on the list.

I can't take you seriously because Mr. Underrated Derrick Mason isn't on your list of "other" great receivers.

I want to comment on that.I was looking through stats and i saw Mason was having a good year.It was said somewhere else,in a pass heavy offesnse he shoudl be well over 1000yrds by now.I disagree,he was a great reciver, his speed has declined over the years and now,he isnt as good of a route runner.Still a solid reciver, but i dont think he is a #1 receiver but definitely a #2.

Antonio Bryant is definitely the Most Improved/Most Surprising Player in the league...

NO,Bryant has done this before,he plays well then once he gets resigned with a nice contract he plays like the sub-par receiver he is.

Well actually, I don't know if the NFL has a Most Improved/Most Surprising Player award.

However, I do know they have a Comeback Player of the Year Award, and he will/should definitely win that.

                  You play to much Madden.

Mason's speed, route running and hands are damn good. He would be a #1 on a couple of teams.

He doesn't have the big play ability, but he catches about 95% of the balls that come his way.

Nearly every year he is in the top 5 of the league in receptions.

Like I said, I can't take you seriously if he isn't even in your "other" list of receivers.

Thats usually given to a player coming off injury.

I left him out i will admit that, but youre giving him to much credit. He isnt fast anymore,he can still catch the ball, but without his speed and route running he cant do to mcuh.If i based it off of Madden then he would have been on there because he just got a raitings boost.

Because I'm defending Derrick Mason one of the better receivers in the league?

Jake i think my dick is hurting from you riding it all the time.

no becuase anyone on your team not mentioned in a list of great players at that position is defended by you as being under rated and hated on.

                              1. you have no example of this.

                              2. When it comes to Defense or receiver, I can make a argument because the Ravens have top of the league players at those positions.

How can he lead them to a win? He doest call the plays, they only throw to him 7-8 times a game and its not his fault the defense is trash.
