no MVP, no Super Bowl but I guarantee that if Culpepper had a defense like McNair had on the Titans he would have won a couple and Daunte fell off the face of the earth because of injuries, arguably worse than any McNair suffered

W2B would attend McNair's funeral just to argue about this with everyone there.

If McNair gets in the HOF and McNabb doesn't, then something is wrong in Canton.

Lol @ one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game.

              Jesus Christ.

When I die, I wonder if I'll become one of the best at what I do.. Because like McNair's NFL career, I'm above average at what I do.

              R.I.P - That's as far as I go.

McNair had some great seasons and was among the better QBs of his generation, but he was not a HOF QB.

It would all be worth it, if my legacy would be forever known as the guy who came up 1 yard short. Personally, I'll remember him as the guy who threw the ball 15 yards too short, because he was outclassed by a better quarterback on the other side. Reverse roles, and Warner would have had that ball in the endzone.

If you people want to praise the guy for being one of the ''best,'' that's your right. The guy was a decent NFL player, with questionable decison making in key moments. He wasn't the best, or one of the best. He's wasn't even better than McNabb.

And believe it or not, most NFL players play in pain. McNair just made sure we all knew about it.

Sad story. I feel for those closest to him, but he's not a HOFer.

Wow. What a bunch of douchebags. I mean, really, the man just died yesterday and some of you have to get up on your high horses and talk about how he wasn't that great of a quarterback and that he doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame. Who cares? His teammates and players around the NFL loved this guy and respected him. He played with great heart on the field and was a great field general. He was the face of the Titans just like Moon was the face when they were the Oilers. Threw for 30,000+ and scored 200+ TDs passing and on the ground. The guy was a great quarterback and was certainly a great of his time and there are many quarterbacks who wished they could have the career he had or played the game like he did.

                          Requiescat in pace.

Except, there's people on here claiming McNair's a HoF QB when he wasn't.

And no one's taking a piss on his dead body, just remarking that his career is not what a lot of these other people are making it out to be.

"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

Actually one of the first things I thought about.

Didn't want to say it, though.
