Such an impressive facility for such a gay team.

And why the fuck did they opt for stupid Field Turf?

    Pussies.

As one of those oldtime baseball players said "If a cow doesn't eat it, I don't wanna play on it."

Even you have to admit - going FieldTurf sucks.

This was an opportunity for the Cowgirls to play on grass. They should have pulled an Arizona or Houston with their stadium.

It's such a nice stadium otherwise ... though I'm sure I'll learn to hate it.

The Linc is a pretty solid stadium. Clearly an upgrade over the Vet (though teams feared the Vet, not so sure they fear The Linc).

There go those damn Giants again...The new stadium itself is very impressive, I for one am not a fan of turf though.

The "New Meadowlands" stadium is coming out pretty sweet itself; too bad we'll have to share that stadium with the Jets as well, they opted not to move out. lawlz

do football players have complaints about fieldturf?

I do know that every other sport that uses it....the players end up injured more oft and they simply would prefer natural grass.

Lots of players prefer field turf actually.. the only common complaint I've read about it are the little rubber scrapings that can get in your eye when you hit the ground.

I know Qwest Field is loved by players because the surface is one of the best out there.

Agreed. I play on fieldturf weekly and I fucking hate it. My knees/ankles are killing me by the time I'm done.

The rubber scrapings are annoying as fuck, they stick to the sweat on your body so if you have exposed skin it'll be glued all over you.

Ive read that natural grass at a stadium costs close to 200k to maintain a year.
Thats 1-2 million saved the next decade.

Rich people may splurge but dont ever forget how cheap they are as well.

One serious injury to a superstar = maintenance costs.

Think of what Cincinnati lost when Ki-Jana Carter got hurt on their turf.

No one has had their career ended by Field Turf. You're thinking of Astroturf.. which was horrible.

                              This place does.

                              Fail.

This is far from the turf at the Vet or Cinergy Field.
