If Vick was smart, he'd try to sign with a team that had a low crime rate area (no more Pac Man-type incidents), ties to multiple organizations involving animal rights (rebuild his P.R.), and plenty of exposure (so someone can make sure he doesn't slip into criminal activity again).

Minnesota maybe, if not San Fran?

I'd like to see him go somewhere he can start at qb. Like San Fran.

Could see him wind up in Washington.. it's close to home.. Sydner hates Campbell for whatever reason, and Zorn is good at developing quarterbacks.

So far, its been alot of Washington talk (location), San Fran (PT), and New England talk. I think they all make sense, Im curious though, what team/owner/PR dept will step to the plate.

Wouldn't mind seeing him in STL. Bulger is on his last leg here.

Reading the article, it says this:

                    **************************************
As part of the deal, Goodell is reserving judgement in the event of any further transgressions from Vick.

"This is a serious matter. We are engaging in a careful and thoughtful process and no decisions have been made," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.
                    **************************************

The article sounds a little conflicting. Any one want to explain what this means, if a decision has already been made?

Hopefully he goes to Minny if they dont get Favre, SF so he can start, and my homer pick, the Carolina Pathers. They could use him yet i dont see them even attempting to get him.

Either one, my b for making it sound confusing

So basically if he does something stupid from now till then, he's done.
So a decision has not been made on the actual length of a suspension?

It sounds like things have not really been decided yet.

I guess, wake me when Goodell announcing something definite.

The bright side, this shouldn't take nearly as LLLLOOOOONNNGGGGG as this Brett Favre thing. I swear, Brett couldn't decide which hand to use to wipe his ass with.

                            How so?

I'm telling you this is the place he's most likely to end up. It's a fact Sean Payton was the only person aside from Dungy that even talked to him.

I have a strong hunch on this...you think he wouldn't jump at the chance to play Atlanta twice a year? For the ONLY team that showed any interest whatsoever when he was out of the pokey? For a guy who relishes using gadget plays to get the ball in the hands of his playmakers?

The Saints are the team with the highest chance of landing him, whether you want to admit it or not.

I don't give a fuck what he's done. I just wanna see him play. He is probably one of the most exciting players to watch in the NFL.

First off they already have a starting QB, who happens to be the offensive player of the year so I can't really see them going out of their way to pick up vick. I just don't see the saints wasting money on a QB when they clearly already have one. He may fit the scheme but IMO it would be a waste when they don't need him, and he wouldn't get much (if any) playing time over brees unless he would be willing and able to use his athleticism at another postion like maybe RB or WR. Would be nice to have someone to sub in when Brees goes on tilt though. What exactly gives the saints any more of a chance to land him over one of the other teams that desperatly need a QB?

I could see them using him as a specialist for options but little else, and I dont really see vick wanting to play second fiddle... maybe they could put him at the RB postion or possibly a wide reciever, or maybe add the wildcat to their playbook (everybody else is). I mean sure it would be pretty intimdating to have to worry about brees and vick in the backfield but honestly do you think the falcons are really going to trade vick away (if im not mistaken he has yet to be cut from their roster) to one of their rival teams?

The more I sit here and think about it the more I'm am starting to dig the idea because it would free up some much need room on the depth chart for defensive tackles and the like... so I retract my dumbest shit ever statement and subsititute it with highly unlikely....
