First off they already have a starting QB, who happens to be the offensive player of the year so I can't really see them going out of their way to pick up vick. I just don't see the saints wasting money on a QB when they clearly already have one. He may fit the scheme but IMO it would be a waste when they don't need him, and he wouldn't get much (if any) playing time over brees unless he would be willing and able to use his athleticism at another postion like maybe RB or WR. Would be nice to have someone to sub in when Brees goes on tilt though. What exactly gives the saints any more of a chance to land him over one of the other teams that desperatly need a QB?
I could see them using him as a specialist for options but little else, and I dont really see vick wanting to play second fiddle... maybe they could put him at the RB postion or possibly a wide reciever, or maybe add the wildcat to their playbook (everybody else is). I mean sure it would be pretty intimdating to have to worry about brees and vick in the backfield but honestly do you think the falcons are really going to trade vick away (if im not mistaken he has yet to be cut from their roster) to one of their rival teams?
The more I sit here and think about it the more I'm am starting to dig the idea because it would free up some much need room on the depth chart for defensive tackles and the like... so I retract my dumbest shit ever statement and subsititute it with highly unlikely....EAGLES!!!! 13-3 :pepsi:

He should go to a strong running team, he would only make it better with his bootleg ability and the fact that teams would have to play contain. So that means from the top 10 rushing teams:
- Carolina (Top choice, IMO)
- Minnesota (Only if Favre doesn't sign)
- New England (They have rumors for whatever reason)
- Washington (Campbell has about 6 starts to prove himself to Snyder)
- Raiders (Prototypical Al Davis QB)Comment

Still say he does, though.
PS- I will say the only teams that I feel are a legitimate candidate otherwise are San Fran (because of their shitty prospects at QB anyway) and NE (Since you never know with Belichick)Last edited by Rayman; 07-24-2009, 10:55 AM.

lol @ thinking he's vying for a starting job.
Maybe next year but this year no way in hell..
Hell be used as a back up and probably alot like Kordell Stewart was his first year in Pittsburgh.
NO makes alot of sense. Him and Reggie in the same backfield in some of those oddball formations would be fun to watch.Best reason to have a license.

I think too many people are playing Madden instead of thinking about the NFL. "Reggie Bush and Vick would be great together," ya... uh huh.Comment

Now put another dynamic playmaker (at his best) back there , you now have 2 players who need constant attention . First of all who do they key in on? and when they have figured that out what about Colston and the other string of solid wrs?
To say Bush and Vick in one of Payton's wierd formations would give defensive headaches is an understatmentLast edited by Archer; 07-24-2009, 11:48 AM.Comment

I was thinking same thing. Running a wildcat this year with Vick and Jackson then Bulger leaves and Vick fulltime QB.
Im sure in reality this probably wont work but what else do we have? WRs are promising but young, TEs are old or they just suck, put Vick and Jackson, also this way i could use him in MAdden.Comment
