Bears named Mike Tice offensive line coach.
Tice, 50, oversaw the Vikings' offensive line from 1997-2001 before being promoted to head coach. He was most recently Jacksonville's assistant HC/tight ends. With an impressive resume and lots of success in Minnesota (he coached Vikings OLs to 10 Pro Bowls), Tice looks to be a terrific hire on paper. The Bears' line greatly underachieved in 2009 despite a number of high-profile offseason additions. Tice should help their cause.

Seemingly a solid signing. Tice was a decent head coach, and as it stated above.. many Olineman had success while he was the coach.. definitely some positives looking forward.

Damn, good signing. He did wonders with Marcedes Lewis, he is just a good coach and will certainly help the Bears line out.

Seems like they're going to give him the freedom to do whatever.

Yeah they did have some good articles about that. But i was on there last night and the articles about last season made me lol, and im a huge bears fan. Apparently Tillman and Bowman made tons of big plays and the LB core overcame losing Urlacher, bullshit.
