Really, there's only a handful of programs I can possibly see him going to:
Ohio St.
Notre Dame
Texas - Even though it looks like Muschamp will replace Mack Brown
Oklahoma - Call me crazy, but I think Stoops days are numbered. I also think if Kirk Ferentz for some reason finally decides that he wants an NFL gig, Stoops is Iowa's man leaving the door open in Norman
Penn St.
And Stoops days are numbered? LOL.Comment

Yeah that might have been the dumbest thing I've read on here in awhile.
Why the hell would OU fire Stoops? Oh yeah cause he's been blown out of a couple NC games... too bad OU still got tens of millions of dollars out of those game and as long as he keeps taking them to BCS games he won't be going anywhere. $$ talks in college football these days.Comment

Originally posted by BORN4CORNYou two are both fucking idiots. First off, Urban Meyer was born in Ohio, coached at an Ohio high school, was an assistant at Ohio St. & was head coach at Bowling Green...which is in OHIO. WOW. Do some research you dumb fucking ohio st. fan.
Secondly, Yes - Bob Stoops days should be numbered. He's one of the highest payed coaches with some of the best talent in the nation, yet he has completely choked in the big games the last 4 or 5 seasons.. People & the administration in Norman expect a championships in return for the amount of cash they pay him. If they get to a BCS game or better yet, the title game & loose.. His ass in no doubt on the hot seat.
IMO its more likely he leaves to coach Ohio State in about 4-5 years when Tressel retires.
Meyer is an Ohio boy born and raised, and was an assistant under Earle Bruce, and got his grad degree from the school.
But as much as I said its more likely for him to go to Ohio State, I doubt he leaves Florida any time soon, he's in the heart of the best recruiting state in the nation...Comment

It won't happen for PSU, but after JoePa either retires or passes away, I want to see Turner Gill of Buffalo take that job. IMO he's the next big thing in coaching and I think he'd be a great fit in State College. He'd also discpline kids better than JoePa has lately.
Turner Gill to Penn State...MAKE IT HAPPEN.

And don't act like your the only one who knows about Urban Meyer's background. Great, you posted some shit that I skipped over, but I know where he's from and what he's done.
Bob Stoops will be on a hot seat if he looses another bowl game, that's my opinion. How many more seasons are they gonna be ok with getting tooled in BCS games? Plus they a bunch of capable assistants waiting in the wings if they feel change is necessary.. Were not talking about Bobby Bowden here.
Oklahoma obviously disagrees with you considering at the end of 2008 they made him the nation's highest paid football coach.Comment

Originally posted by BORN4CORNAnyway imo, all I'm saying is he's gonna be on the hot seat if they miss the Big 12 Champ. game, and get owned in a BCS game again if they get an invite.
And what happens if they have an average season like in 05 and they go 8-4 or something? I mean their schedule this year is no cake walk.Comment
