Shame on Diehl. I have ZERO tolerance for this shit. Thank goodness no one got injured or killed. Don't the Giants provide limo service for players when they're hanging out?

If Diehl couldn't be scared by what he could've done to others, maybe people should show him videos of Erik Williams before and after his car wreck.

Matt Williamson lists his top 15 projected pass-rushers for 2015, including Jason Pierre-Paul, Clay Matthews and Robert Quinn.
1. Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, New York Giants
Not only is Pierre-Paul extremely tall and long, but he is also powerful and incredibly agile for someone of his unique dimensions. His physical gifts are off the charts. When he entered the league, Pierre-Paul was very raw, but after registering 16.5 sacks in 2011, he is here to stay. Pierre-Paul is fantastic at batting down passes and disrupting passing lanes when he doesn't reach the quarterback. It's scary that he is this good already -- and that he doesn't turn 24 years old until January.

Michael Strahan in final three to co-host with Kelly Ripa
Outside of the legal battle over the bounty suspensions, there’s not much actual football news being made right now.
A former football star’s television career is about as close as we’re going to get, so we bring you word that former Giant defensive end and current FOX pregame show host Michael Strahan is one of three finalists to fill the seat vacated by Regis Philbin next to Kelly Ripa on what’s currently called Live! With Kelly. We can’t say we’ve seen any of Strahan’s work on the show, but he’s an affable fellow who is comfortable in front of the camera thanks to his Sunday gig during football season and one mostly painful season of the sitcom Brothers.
Alas, the report does not tab Strahan as the front-runner. Roger Friedman of Showbiz411.com reports that Seth Meyers, currently the head writer and Weekend Update host of Saturday Night Live, has the inside track on the gig. He’ll co-host a full week of shows next week in a test run and, per the report, the job is his unless he pulls a Brett Favre to help out Strahan.
Singer Josh Groban is the third finalist. This is his first ever mention on the pages of Pro Football Talk and likely his last unless he gets a gig during halftime of the Super Bowl or buys into the Dolphins.

Terrell Thomas re-injures ACL
Terrell Thomas approached Tom Coughlin after practice yesterday to say his surgically-repaired, encased-in-ice right knee was fine.
Unfortunately, his initial diagnosis was incorrect.
Terrell Thomas underwent an MRI and examination by team physician Dr. Russell Warren at Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan today. The MRI revealed that Thomas suffered an injury to the right knee involving the ACL.
"Terrell re-injured his ACL,” said Giants senior vice president of medical services Ronnie Barnes. “At this point, he will most likely undergo an arthroscopic procedure to determine the extent of the injury to the ACL. However, no decision has been made at this point. Terrell is going to consult with Dr. (Arthur) Ting, who performed an allograft reconstruction of the ACL in September.”
Thomas re-injured his knee in practice yesterday. The knee swelled up overnight and this morning he was driven to Manhattan for an examination. Coughlin didn’t have the results when he spoke to the media after the team’s workout today, but there was no masking his concern when he was asked if there was “anything new’ regarding Thomas.
“Unfortunately, there is,” Coughlin said. “He came in this morning with a swollen knee, went down to HSS. … He walked up to me after practice, he thought he felt good. He didn’t really seem to have any issues and then this morning, when he came back and he was swollen, so they sent him to HSS …”
Thomas and everyone on the Giants hoped his knee problems were history. The five-year veteran missed the entire 2011 season after tearing his right ACL in a preseason victory over Chicago on August 22 – the same injury he suffered at the University of Southern California in 2005. Dr. Ting repaired the ligament a month later in San Francisco.
Thomas worked tirelessly for almost a year so he would be ready for training camp at the University at Albany and the upcoming season. He said his knee felt good and after missing the first practice with a stiff back, moved right into the lineup as the starter at right corner.
But he left practice early yesterday and his knee was immediately iced. “He walked up to me and said, ‘I slipped,’” Coughlin said.Comment
