Nicks is hurt. Take him out until he is healthy. Put Reuben in and let him take some snaps.

i dont understand the giants. 2 weeks ago i thought they were the SB team. who could doubt that offense with Eli firing the ball and the defense has always been stout.
but then they lose to the steelers in a game they had won and come out and play totally uninspired against the bengals who dominated them
there is no excuse for a team this good to play that poorly against a team like the bengals. So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

Playcalling fantastic, timely draws all game long. O-line and RB play was great, knocking off 9 and 10 yard runs all day. Eli much better pocket presence and protection. Still no TD for Hynoski. Nice to see the D-line show up in a big way. Kenny Phillips seemed to be the missing link, made Antrel shine as well. Corey Webster is the little girl with the curl. The bye week couldn't have come at a better time.
A great thing about this team is we match up so well with the Packers, Patriots, and 49ers. All SB contenders.Comment

Giants sign Kregg Lumpkin and Ryan Torain
The Giants today bolstered their depleted offensive backfield by signing running backs Ryan Torain and Kregg Lumpkin.
Andre Brown fractured his fibula in the Giants’ 38-10 victory over Green Bay on Sunday night, leaving Ahmad Bradshawand rookie David Wilson as the team’s only running backs. Brown yesterday was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return, leaving an opening on the roster. The Giants created another one by waiving offensive lineman Selvish Capers, who was signed off the practice squad last week.
Torain, 6-1 and 220 pounds, played one season with Denver and two with the Washington Redskins, who the Giants will face Monday night in FedEx Field. He appeared in 20 games with 13 starts and has career totals of 238 rushing attempts for 1,011 yards (4.2-yard average), a long run of 54 yards and six touchdowns. He also has 24 receptions for 148 yards (6.2-yard average) and two scores.
In 2011, Torain played in eight games with four starts for the Redskins. He rushed for 200 yards and a touchdown on 59 carries and caught six passes for 23 yards. He was waived by Washington on December 27.
Torain, who played two seasons at Arizona State, entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft choice of the Denver Broncos in 2008. He fractured his elbow in August and didn’t make his pro debut until November 2 vs. Miami. Four days later he started in Cleveland, but suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He ended his rookie season with 69 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.
Torain did not play in 2009 after reaching an injury settlement with the Broncos. He signed with Washington on Sept. 4, 2010. That season, he had career-high totals of 10 games played, eight starts, 164 carries, 742 yards, six touchdowns (four rushing, two receiving) and 18 catches. Torain ran for a career-best 172 yards vs. Tampa Bay on Dec. 12, 2010.
Torain enrolled at Arizona State after attending Butler Community College. At ASU, he played in 19 games with 14 starts and had 323 rushing attempts for 1,782 yards (5.5-yard avg.) and 12 touchdowns and caught 25 passes for 305 yards (12.2-yard avg.) and five scores.
Lumpkin also entered the league in 2008, when he signed with the Packers as a free agent out of Georgia. He played in two games for Green Bay that year and spent the 2009 season on the Packers’ practice squad. He was waived on Sept. 4, 2010. Lumpkin was awarded to the Buccaneers, for whom he played 11 games that year and all 16 games in 2011.
Lumpkin’s career totals are 33 carries for 124 yards (3.8-yard avg.) and 45 receptions for 325 yards (7.2-yard avg.). He has not scored a touchdown.
The Seattle Seahawks signed Lumpkin as a free agent on March 13, 2012. In the preseason, he led the Seahawks with 40 rushing attempts, which produced 160 yards and a touchdown.
Lumpkin’s contract was terminated on September 18.
At Georgia, Lumpkin shared the running back spot with several players, including former Giant D.J. Ware. He rushed for 1,699 yards and 14 touchdowns on 352 carries.
The team also terminated the practice squad contract of running back Joe Martinek.Comment

remember when the giants missed out on doug martin by one pick?
Doug Martin - 1,050 rushing yards 332 recieving yards 10 TD's
David Wilson - 102 rushing yards 8 receiving yards 1 TD
i know wilson is still a rookie and no one expected him to come in and have huge numbers and he has shown flashes of his explosiveness but damn that is a huge gap .... bradshaw is always one hit away from being gone and im surprised he hasnt missed time yet. i think we saw against the packers how massively important bradshaw is to the team and how much better the offense is when there is a running game to balance things out. i think the injury to andre brown could have a way bigger impact on the team then people think.Comment
