Great tweet by Garafolo during the game:

I love watching the sideline when Dodge does something good. They treat him like a charity case. #nyg

Why is C.C. Brown running his mouth all of a sudden?

There were two plays that kept the game close: the Punter fumbling and that sideline TD to Johnson that was a blown play by Rolle. So two big plays that gave up 14 points. Other than that we kicked there asses all day and seemed that the Giants were in control. That said we need to eliminate the mistakes. The Giants did get the Win so all is good.

Well Dallas is definitely desperate, they're at home and you know we have a tendency to get comfortable after a few wins

I would love for us to throw dirt on Dallas grave but, I would not be shocked at all if they rolled us......

Dallas still has 5 division games. If they win on Monday they will still be in contention.

so went to my first giants game at the new stadium yesterday and i have to say i wasnt that impressed. for anyone who hasnt been just imagine the old stadium ... and make it slightly bigger. no drastic changes. i was amazed that $1.6 billion bought that stadium. still nicer and more updated but i was underwhelmed by it. short list of my likes/dislikes.

                  LIKES
                  - More parking/way easier to get out of the stadium. Since they took down the old stadium and added more parking it was very quick getting out after the game

                  - Getting into the game was a lot quicker. Anyone who has been to old stadium knows you could sit there for 20 minutes waiting to get patted down by security before making your way into the stadium. I left the Izod parking lot taking the bus over at around 12:40 and figured I would miss kickoff but i did not. bus dropped us off in front at 12:45 and I was in my seat right at kickoff which amazed me. there was at least double the amount of lines to get in which was a huge improvement.

                  - Way more concession stands. whether it was beer/food/whatever there were double the amount of concessions. i went down at halftime and got a pretzel within a minute or two which was unheard of in the old stadium

                  - The 4 new big screens in the corners of the stadium. very nice and big. i had a great view of one near my seat.

                  - cupholders!!!

                  - Walkways inside the stadium were a lot bigger. in the old stadium it was like herding cattle. you were shoulder to shoulder with everyone, but the walkways were widened a bunch making it much more comfortable to walk around.

                  - Seats were slightly bigger

                  DISLIKES:

                  - Stadium was very bland. just a huge hollow concrete cathedral. the new yankees stadium has huge video screens inside, memorabilia and history everywhere, giants stadium has next to none.

-Bathrooms. not much bigger at all. in fact, the first time i went to take a piss there was a fucking line at the mens room. when do you ever see a line at the men's room??

-Seats are higher up from the field. not by a very noticeable difference but you could tell they were

-No smoking. im sure for you non-smokers this isnt an issue but hey i paid $85 for a ticket, i should be allowed to smoke a butt at halftime. apparently you can only smoke on the ground level seats. (which are the 500 dollar seats, so yeah fuck that)

                  - You need to take escalators everywhereeeeeeee. i needed to take 3 too get to my seats upstairs. in the old stadium there was one big ass escalator that would take you all the way to the top, but no, now you need to take 3.

                  - Stadium wasnt enclosed at all. i could only imagine how bad its gonna suck when its raining/snowing or extremely cold. at least in the old stadium you could go into the walkways to warm up but not now. if its raining or cold as shit its gonna be like that everywhere.

The Giants are second in the NFL in total defense (allowing 264.8 yards a game) and passing defense (172.0) and are first in yards allowed per play (4.3).

After falling to 17th in rushing last season, the Giants are currently 5th in the NFL in rushing yards per game (136.3).

DE Osi Umenyiora is second in the NFL with 8.0 sacks. He also leads the NFL with seven forced fumbles.

QB Eli Manning is 19-4 (.826) as a starter in October, the best mark among quarterbacks who began their career in the Super Bowl era (minimum 20 starts). Also, Manning joined Phil Simms as the only Giants quarterbacks to pass for 20,000 yards.

Make that 44,411.76 for Graham's stint w #NYG. Divided his $755k salary by 16 but should have divided by 17. They get paid for bye wk. #nyg

                      Holy shit.

"One of the funniest things is we have been on Osi because we finally figured out why he always strips the ball ... so he never has to share a sack," defensive tackle Barry Cofield told ESPNNewYork.com. "We figured out Osi's plan and we have to figure out a way to combat that."

So I'm watching the Ravens-Giants SB right now and see our coordinators are Sean Payton and John Fox and it made me wonder. The Giants in history have to have the best coaching tree, I mean I can name like 5 ex-coordinators that are or have been ex head coaches including the two I named before, Crennel, Belicheat, Coughlin.. I'd be interested to see other teams stack up against ours.

I think the Bill Walsh coaching tree tops all.

As for Ravens-Giants, Amani Toomer said he was bothered by the offensive play-calling in that game. He felt the coaches gave the Ravens defense too much respect and should have been more aggressive.

I mean, we tried to throw it deep way more then you see on this year's Giants team. Two reasons why we lost that game stuck out to me, Kerry Collins was absolutely terrible, and they picked on Jason Sehorn baddddddddd.
