No Hakeem Nicks going into the hardest part of the schedule.

      Another second-half swoon.

He underwent a "fasciotomy" on Monday afternoon. Compartment syndrome affects muscle circulation, and can lead to muscle or nerve damage if not treated cautiously. The Giants' passing attack can expect a major step back, as No. 2 receiver Steve Smith (pectoral) has already been ruled out for the rest of the month and Ramses Barden is on I.R. Mario Manningham will be counted on heavily. It sounds like the G-Men are hopeful that Nicks could return in Week 15, but that's no guarantee. We'd try to hang onto Nicks in fantasy leagues if possible.
        Unbelievable.

He hopes to be back by Week 14, but only time will tell. I also think he said that he won't be a "full time player" all season, but he will be back on the field as soon as possible.

Antrell Rolle offered to help out on offense

Beckum is going to see the ball a lot more, they're going to split him wide in some packages.....Calhoun, we're going to find out what he's got....and who knows who else they will bring in this week from the scrap heap

We're going to beat the Jaguars, the defense is going to have to deliver a great performance....the Jags ain't that good, we're going to win....Eli needs to get his head out of his ass and play like he did last year

I ain't giving up on the season, fuck that

                    This is who's out there:

                    • Kevin Curtis: The Giants worked out the former Eagle last week. As of Monday evening, there was no update on his situation. He might be the most likely outside option.

                    • Brandon Jones: Also worked out for Giants last week. Had 41 catches with Tennessee in 2008.

                    • Reggie Brown: Another former Eagle, all has been quiet with him since he was cut by the Bucs at the end of the preseason.

                    • Antonio Bryant: Went from signing a $28 million deal to unemployed when he was cut by the Bengals in August. We repeat: cut ... by the Bengals.

                    • Keenan Burton: The Giants tried to bring the former Ram in for a workout earlier this season but he visited the Bears instead. His agent said there was nothing doing as of Monday night.

                    • Michael Clayton: The former Buccaneer is in the UFL, so it would cost the Giants a $150,000 “transfer fee” to sign him.

If your WRs are a walking (use the term loosely) infirmary, the last guy you want to sign is AB.

Cut by the Bengals after just signing him is also a huge red flag....I definitely don't want Bryant

I wouldn't mind seeing Kevin Curtis brought in as a stop gap

Coughlin sat Butterfingers Bradshaw's ass down. Jacobs will start against the Jaguars.
