    Rookie camp roster

QB Dan LeFevour is among the names. Was a good back-up in Madden last year.

Jayron Hosley in coverage just slipped and fell and limped off the field. Left leg getting stretched. #nyg

          Hosley may just be cramps.

David Wilson was said to be fast as hell running the ball.

Some walk-on from Rutgers supposedly is making noise at camp. I caught the tail end of the report last night. Forgot the dude's name.

Think that's the safety Brandon Bing. Was on last year's practice squad.

--Former Rutgers CB Brandon Bing, who was on the Giants’ practice squad for a portion of last season, has had three solid practices now. As I mentioned Friday, the guys who have been around always seem to be moving the fastest during rookie camp because they know their assignments. Bing has looked that way and his technique has been solid as well. This morning, he did a great job of staying on top of a go route by WR Rueben Randle (second round) up the left side. QB Ryan Perrilloux had thrown a perfect pass, so Bing needed to stay tight to Randle. Plus, he had the deep third of the field in a Cover-3 look, so he had no help over the top. Also, S Will Hill (tryout, Florida) was late breaking to Bing’s side. So in all, a nice play by Bing, who got some props from Coughlin after the session.

Hakeem Nicks will be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks after fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his right foot on Thursday.
The non-contact injury occurred while Nicks was running a route tree in morning practice. He will undergo surgery Friday to have a screw inserted for stabilization. The timetable provided by the Giants would have Nicks out until the middle of training camp, and perhaps until a couple of weeks before the season opener. This is the latest in a string of lower-leg injuries for Nicks, who has dealt with multiple issues to his toe, foot, ankle, and knee in addition to Compartment Syndrome since joining the Giants in 2009. As long as he's on course over the next couple of months, Nicks will remain a high-risk, high-reward fantasy selection as a top-12 receiver. Rookie Rueben Randle should benefit from picking up valuable first-team reps through training camp.

He was definitely deserving of more money. He had 12.5 sacks in 13 games.

Finally, now we wont have to hear anout it anymore.

Hopefully he'll have a ton of more strip sacks this year.
