"Osi Umenyiora can stop complaining about his old contract and start complaining about his new one."

It looks like the Giants really wanted to keep him, and their patience paid off. I am still not quite sure why the Ravens didn't pursue Osi aggressively, considering Suggs will be out for a large portion of the season. This would have been a good match for them.

Only way the Giants would have moved him IMO was if a team blew them over with a 1st round pick in April. They know they need his pass rushing skills.

The reason why the Giants wanted a 2nd over a 3rd is because the Giants would get a 3rd round compensatory pick if Osi was released.

              Coughlin signed through 2014...a formality.

He will leave when he feels he's done. Gotta love the stability at the top of the Giants organization.

^^^ That's the difference between the Giants and Knicks - smart/stable ownership.

New York City police say Giants starting offensive lineman David Diehl has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

Jake Ballard was released today after not passing his physical. its a shame he had to go out like that after being a clutch player last year

Expect Ballard to resign down the road. Assume this was formality over him not playing this year.
