I am pretty sure everybody knows Weaver from his Seattle days . I remember him having a big playoff run v the skins a few years back

look at teams with good running games las year
      Baltimore, New York Giants, Titans

All have big FB that block. Madison Hedgecock is the best blocking FB in the game, Loreno Neal isnt far behind and Ahmard Hall is the 2nd best young FB in th game behind McClain

I wouldnt expect to see McClain run that much this year anyway. He will get goaline carries and short yardage. I expect this out of Baltimore running game this year

      Ray Rice - 12 carries
      Willis McGahee - 12 carries
      Le'Ron McClain - 3 carries

      Then TD's
      McClain - 12
      McGahee - 7
      Rice - 6

There is no other FB in the league like McClain. Your either a runner of blocker. and IMO hillis isnt a FB, that guy is a lfat out beast of a runningback.
You fail for not mentioning Ovie Mughelli, the highest paid and best blocking FB in the league.

WOW, how could i forget him, im embarassed lol, hes likes another guard at FB for you.
I was pissed when we let him go. He is probably the 2nd best if not the best blocking FB in the league.

Further proves that if you have a great blocking FB youll have a great running game

Not being used as such and there not being any is a big difference.

Using a FB means having a WR on the sideline. Teams are opting for the WR.
This isnt a hard and true fact but a generalization of the last 20 or so years. FB's have a harder time running against 4-3 defenses as opposed to 3-4. Its much harder to pop off a quick handoff when theres 4 guys able to cover those gaps immediately. As teams go more and more to 3-4 we may see a resurgence.

Anyways basically noone carries 2 true FBs. You only have one per team the odds of you giving him carries is slimmer and slimmer. If you want a versatile FB teams are likelier to give them passes out of the backfield not a handful of carries.
Best reason to have a license.
