Flaw in Cowboys Stadium

the only thing wrong with the cowboys new stadium is that the cowboys play there. no fans are bigger homers than cowboy fans, they can even justify why the team hasnt won a playoff game since 1996. dammit man i fucking hate dallas.

…and while you’re at it, please make all non-domed stadiums re-pith their fields so that rain drainage no longer unevenly drains more so towards the opposing team’s sidelines. This way home teams will no longer be able to create unfair disadvantages for opponents, by creating uneven damp conditions that slows their substitutions in and out of every play and hampers teams’ overall ability to manage a game from the sidelines…

It's a fucking tv screen. Why is it so important to you? We get it, your stadium is super awesome, how bout dem Cowboys!!. But the dumb tv is clearly an issue, raise it or get rid of it.

There's nothing the league can do about it. If the fact that a punter can hit the scoreboard if he's aiming for it makes them so butthurt, they're just gonna have to make a new rule about that kind of thing.

If it needs to be moved it should. No team should be able to obstruct something on field by stadium design. Its like having a jacuzzi in the endzone and asking guys to play around it.

I do have a problem with the NFL not knowing how much it should be moved , them signing off on it to begin with , and not speaking about a contingency plan while it was being built/setup. That and people trying to blame Jerry for this ??

If announcers , players , and fans at home were wondering about the height before the stadium was opened how did the NFL not anticipate this ?

I will say again it was aimed at. But frankly what punter in there right mind wouldnt want to aim there kick at that fuckin thing ? If I was an opposing punter Id dream of hitting it so hard it knocks out reception.

A) Because the team is constantly being attacked like they're the spawn of Satan.

B) Because they did nothing wrong here. Jerrah asked the NFL how high he should have it. They said it needed to be at least 80 feet. He made it 90 for good measure.

And for the record, the reason he won't raise the board is because if it's any higher, certain tiers of the stadium would not be able to see it adequately. He paid good money for it, and he wants the most bang for his buck. Good for him. The stadium is magnificent and all, but the highlight for ol' JJ was this scoreboard and there's no way in hell the NFL is gonna make him move or remove it. And honestly, I'd love to see Goodell try. This isn't Q-Bert Jones or Michael Vick he'd be dealing with.
